What is trademark abuse?

Trademark Infringement is a violation of the exclusive rights attached to a trademark without the authorization of the trademark owner or any licensees in a way that is likely to cause confusion about the source of goods or services.

A trademark is a nationally or regionally registered symbol, word, sign or name, used to identify and distinguish the brand, goods and services of a company or individual. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office requires trademarks to be registered and approved.

When using our Trademark Infringement form, please make sure to clearly include all pertinent information, including the registration office, registration number, and a URL or description of the infringing content. A member of our legal team will respond promptly with a proposed resolution.
